Seems the Orps are very vocal! They are so sweet though, so that more than makes up for it. Krista

My buff orps are only 7 weeks old, but I'm already laughing at the fact that they scream for me to come close up the coop each night! They march themselves in there 20 min. or so before it's completely dark and then yell for me to come close the door, lol! And I mean YELL! Soon as the door's closed, everyone's happy. They've definitely got me trained!

Guess I've got years of hollering ahead of me! Wouldn't trade them, though!

Broody hens do this a lot when you remove them from their precious nest. Even touching them can tick them off!! Mine do this all the time, so don't worry. this is normal behavior.
