Cyn, the new stove looks great. I really wanted to come to your house for dinner. Sausage, biscuits and gravy sounds wonderful. I am making an oven omlet tonight. It's a great way to use up the extra eggs.
We just replaced out ven hood a couple of years ago. The old one was almost 15 years old and I just could not get it clean. We replaced it wit an all enclosed stainless steel one. I do think it is a great idea to at least try to refurbish the old one if possible, especially if it can save money in the long run. Good luck.

I was not able to post anything yesterday and I was so excited to share with y'all about my new babies. I hatched out 14 Icelandics and 8 Delawares. They will be going to their new home on Saturday.

What's so good about Delaware's? Maybe I should ask, LOL

Hilbilly's right, I think. Those oven exhaust fans , I think most people toss them because they're caked in places you can't get to, not because they don't work.

You are posting in this, the society thread of Delaware lovers, and ask that?

Sounds like you some research work to do!

Delawares. I got some chicks about 4 months ago, and by the time I got them, I just was so burned out on chicks, so I gave them to a friend. There were 3. I must have ordered them because they had personality!

Oh good heavens do Delaware have personality. Friendly, sometimes to the pest point. Junebug is half Delaware and if you have seen her videos and read of her antics oh my. My former Delaware Fattie and Cannonball were hoots....Fattie demanded to lay in the porch swing every day and when Cyn was visiting me, she had to hold Fattie and swing with her and then she wanted Cyn to get off the swing so she could lay her egg so she bit Cyn...I got up and Fattie laid her egg beside Cyn.

Everyone needs at least one Delaware in their flock at a minimum a Delawegger

Junebug launched herself from the ground onto Cheyenne's lap and then climbed up her jacket to her chest and stuck her head inside Cheyenne's jacket and proceeded to snuggle in. Bill and I were leaving at the time and we watched the launch from the Jeep....Junebug had been unsuccessful in getting inside the Jeep to go ride with us so she ran to Cheyenne to pout in Cheyenne's jacket!

That's nice to hear about Delawares. I heard so much about Cynthia's BR's that I now have 2. One was a broken leg rescue from the neighbor that I kept (mwahahaha), and the other was one shipped chick I kept. My Jerseys are very friendly and sit on my chair. My Polish are friendly. My Faverolles , EE's , Ameraucana, are friendly but not touchable.

Well , now I'm building on my Polish. I'm waiting to hatch a roo. It's been a year now. Due to all the circumstances, I'm still waiting to hatch one. I'm waiting on eggs now to try again
