He is a cute little goober, ain't he?

Kathy! OMG! I didn't realize just how big Fred and Wilma are getting! Sheeeeeeesh! Wilma looks like she's already got a pound or two on Kayson! Good thing those two are such sweethearts. That could be serious trouble in another few months!

Soooo, tell me Kathy, how old will they be when they start breeding? How convenient that you have a male & female pair, huh?!?

The hummers arrived here about two weeks ago and I rushed to get a feeder out.

Oh, remember the mystery crow I was hearing? Kept trying to figure out if I had a strange rooster living in my woods. Well, today, I hear this screaming, caterwauling yell, almost a moo, like my Delaware, Maxie, used to do. She'd just stretch out her neck and moo like a cow, loudly, for no apparent reason. We called her the Mouth of the South. I ran out, thinking maybe it was the 6 week old Delawegger male, but lo and behold, it was my Silver Phoenix hen, Molly, yelling her fool head off! She was standing on the roost bar in the pen, stretching her neck out and mooing like a cow! Crazy hen. It must have been her I was hearing. At least, I hope it was her.

Maxie was a hoot. The well guy heard her from 300 ft away down the driveway when he was putting in the new pump and said, "Is that a chicken?" and he raised chickens! LOL. I miss her. She would go on for 30 minutes like that, just yelling her head off. She'd out-holler the roosters. No idea why Molly started doing that. I'll have to try to get it on video.

Cyn, I just looked at your table runner. It is beautiful, I love the colors. Good luck selling it. You sure have a knack for mixing colors.
