Sdwd

Well, let me clarify my day.

Slept until 10am.
Got up and let the chickens out and refilled feeders and waterers.
Came inside, ate a bowl of cereal, watched tv and played on internet while sitting on couch.
Took nap until 3pm.
Woke up, took shower, ordered pizza and went to feedstore. Let big burly men load feed into truck bed.
Picked up pizza on way home.
Ate pizza while sitting on couch watching tv.
Laid on couch under blanket until 6:30.
Got up and went to lock up chickens. Cleaned brooders until 8:30.
Came back inside, fed dogs and cats.
Back to sitting on couch under blanket.

I lead such a rough life.

My mom and a friend of the family both had their gall bladders out recently. they all feel MUCH better.

I got up at 8 and fed the cats, let the dogs out for their morning constitution and then back to bed till 9.
Then got up and made some homemade chicken noodle soup to send over to my DIL since she is sick. Took care of the chickens water gathered eggs.
Cooked chicken helper for DH and he rushed off to work.
Tried to nap....
Worked on my quilt some.
Put chickens to bed.
Ate some jello, listened to sister complain
Dusted chickens
Shower
BYC!!

I sure wish I felt better, nothing to eat but jello and chicken broth

No house chickens! Chickens must stay outside! Now that my garage brooders work well, there will be NO MORE chickens in my house ever. Never ever never. I don't "do" house chickens. Plus 2 of my 4 dogs think chickens sure look TASTY.

And the other 2 dogs think the new cat looks TASTY. It's a work in progress over here.....

How'd you like that hoarder show last night Kathy? Gonna have 68 chickens in your house any time soon? LOL

I did think that show was sad. How in the world do people get like that? Loneliness and isolation ..... very sad.

Not a chance that I will have chickens in my house! NO WAY! Last year brooding in the attached garage was enough for me. It took me 2 days to dust, vacuum, and sweep all the dust outta there. That is without having to deal with chicky poo.... I had no mess like that to contend with. I now brood in the storage garage.

Neighbors about a mile up the road stopped by today. They said Tyson, our dog, has been coming to visit them lately. He barks at them, and they were afraid to get outta their car. Dang dog. He is now, "in the dog house!" I hate to pen him up, as he watches over the chickens so well. But, I will not have him going into other people's yards. I wouldn't like it here, and I won't allow it. SOOOO, he will be penned or we will get rid of him.

I brooded in the extra bedroom. Oh my god, it was a disaster. So nasty and dusty and gross. And of course, because I am a closet hoarder, I had tons of crap in that room (i typed craps, how hilarious is THAT) that all got gross and disgusting. NEVER EVER NEVER AGAIN. That was the point of the garage brooders. Must. Not. Brood. In. House. Ever. Again.

Tell Tyson to behave himself! My dogs have to stay fenced as they have no sense of boundaries. My neighbors all like to let their dogs loose and their dogs actually will come over here and harass mine through the fence. So annoying. This spring I think i will finally run that strand of hot wire around the outside bottom of the fence. We have a lot of dog issues in this neighborhood. Neighbors dog was loose and got into another neighbor's yard through the fence slats. Was promptly attacked and disemboweled by the pack of dogs that live there. Yikes.

Little old lady neighbor used to tie her papillion out in her backyard for a little while each day to get some sunshine since she had no fence and he was a housedog. Neighbors dog dug out and ran over and killed it.

Neighbors pitbull attacked old man walking his old chow. He had to stab it and call the police, I think. Stupid dogs. There are lots of "nice" loose dogs right now, but they are still annoying. My neighbors dogs used to run over and "challenge" me when I came out of my house. I called them up and made the wife CRY lololol.

It would cost a fortune to fence in all 4 acres here. Besides, it looks better without a fence. Our closest neighbor loves Tyson, and he has always gone here and there. I just didn't know he was wondering off further and further. I love this dog, but I will not have it. Mike just got home from work (working in Denver now). We are gonna have to discuss the matter and decide what to do. Dang, I hate dealing with this......
