Afternoon all. Just checking in.

Missing girls were found (PRAISE GLORY) on Saturday in El Paso, TX. Father is incarcerated, foster parents flew out and got the girls. They are all home safely now. WHO KNOWS whats gonna happen to the Daddy. I suggested having Lorrana Bobbitt come visit him in jail.

At any rate, all is good there!

Colby and his baseball team won their tourney up in Ringgold this weekend. 3 tourneys down....second place in one, first place in one and "no where near placing" in the other

I think I have "Kathy" disease here in NW Georgia. I have chicks everywhere. 14 nearly grown CRs from Jan hatch, 15 BRs about 6 weeks old, 20 CRs just put into the grow up pen and 20 more CRs born yesterday (100% hatch by the way).....uuuggghhhh, feed bill is getting crazy

Hope everyone is well. Headed to a double-header game for Colby tonight in Cedartown. Off to Niagara Falls on Wednesday

Everyone stay well!!

Scott,
I was just sitting down to type you an email to see about the girls. So glad to hear they are safe at home!

YAY for Colby and his team! I sooooo miss those days of watching our boys play ball. Good times!

Have fun at Niagra Falls. Be sure to take the boat ride!

chicks? I am not even gonna tell you how many chicks I have growing out here.

I hope to be able to sell a few pairs or trios soon.

Hey Scott! I am so glad the missing girls were found. What a relief.

Good job on Coby's part! I have never been one particularly for ball sports, mainly water sports.

Kathy, let me take a guess. 50 chicks? Higher or lower?

I am thinking about selling Tasha. Already mentioned her to a customer/friend who is going to get a couple chicks from me soon. Of the chicks we hatched, I may be keeping 10 standards and all 7 D'Anvers for the time being. I want to keep the Silver Phoenix, Molly, and am debating keeping the Speckled Sussex, Sarah. She is pretty and plump, but quite skittish. At least, Molly is svelte and will fit into the bantam coop quite nicely.

Reba is no better, though her abdomen seems a slight bit smaller this afternoon. We can feel nothing up the oviducts and she is still squat walking. A member here PMd me that her hen who had the exact same symptoms as Reba, same age, just died after she tried every thing she could think of. I don't have a good feeling about this and have nowhere to go now with her. Either she will get worse or she'll get better. She sure is trying to be normal.

Shadow isn't laying because she is molting! Lavender feathers are everywhere! Thank goodness there is an explanation!

Kathy, where did you say the BLRWs came from? Turbos and where else? Looks like I'll have to rehome the last one. I put it up in what gender, but looks like another boy to me. Friendly little critter, too! I love that baby, but have no place for a Wyandotte male here, sadly.
