Nick heed my rules now

Amy...Severus did a tryout for Thor's job and got the Splash smackdown complete with the deep throated raptor growl. He is stupid...girls run amuck every which way and he has no clue where they are or what they are into and then...he crows at 3 am the idiot. I mean he actually alarmed the girls today because Cheyenne was in a tree...they looked at him like he was an idiot.

LOL

Well, it is starting ..... drizzle and 35 currently. Forecast says up to 4 inches of ice .... can you imagine that? OMG! THEN, it says 12 - 18 inches of snow! This is unreal. I pray it passes by me, cuz Mike is not home. He gets off today (in Colorado), and will be lucky if he makes to our home in Iowa!

If I am off line, you know why!

I am actually very nervous about this storm. It is like I can just see it all coming now ...... I worry about my chickens. Ya know, my breeder barn has only 3 pens of birds, all the rest are empty. That means less body heat. I have babies in one pen (2 months old). They have 2 heat lights, as well as a heater. I hope that will be enough. If they appear distressed, I will just bring them all inside to my attached garage...... exactly what I said I would never do again! ha, never say never!

Kathy, I have groups of 5 living together and they have been fine, and it hit -2 here a few weekends ago. As long as your electricity stays one, the little ones will be fine.

Cynthia, I think we are just going to get rain out of it. Maybe lots of rain, but I think we will miss the nasty stuff.

Boo and Ivan are huge, Cynthia - Luke and Suede's grandsons do them proud, even if they are mutts.

I really like the pictures, Beth. Ivan looks great!

Kathy, OMG are you kidding??

Geesh that's a lot! I will be sure to pray for your babies out there!

Nick and his lovely mom just left with 5 Delaware babies. He got to meet Suede and Isaac. Nice to meet you, Nick! I feel like I'd already met you. Come back when the weather is warm. Maybe you can get a pullet from the big hatch.

Thanks SO MUCH for the cookies, too! I was going to bring you this Amish egg basket, but before we drove up we went to the ortho for my braces and forgot it.

Sorry! Maybe when we see you again we will bring it!

Mom is going on and on about how sweet you and Tom are. Thanks again!

Warning to all SDWDers: this thread is about to get PIC HEAVY!

ETA: I recognize a quilt on your table!
