It is zipping now and I can see the feathers.

Unbelievable! The last THREE to hatch are yellows, giving me a total of 6 yellows! Much better than 3!

This one is a late arrival, in comparison. Day 21 began 12 hours ago. Well, this egg is a tad bit larger, maybe that is why.

See, Kathy? What did I tell ya? The yellows are divas and they just want to be fashionably late so that they can make a grand entrance. And true to Del fashion, they like to drive you crazy. These are just getting a head start on that practice!

I really would like to get started asap on them too, as you well stated kinda sounds like you got my number sometimes, Ha.

BUT, until I get downsized here I just can't possibly sqeeze another breathing thing in anymore crooks and crannies much less not even going to start in on the FEEDBILL 'cause if everybody knows that is to be overlooked if you have to support a habitual hobby

the thing about it is I'm getting a little too short on one end (my wampum belt) to see over it anymore.

Got to go and catch up on all the rest of the posts from yesterday as I was way too busy to get on here during the day and last night was race night (priorities are first even if they sometimes make NO sense

at all,huh?)

Mrs. Kathy glad you ended up with 6 more possible prospects for the project go get 'em.

I have ressurected an old post over on the behaviors sect. go check it out if you havent already. I posted it on here two years ago to kind of shed a little light on a lot of ? on the molt and such and it also has some of goofy adventures (chasing rabbits) in there too that some may find humourus and maybe educational which most on this thread have already got the chicken thing figured out pretty well from my reading of ya'lls post, most on here know what they are doing. I mostly posted it for new/beginers and for some that don't even have the vagest clue of what it takes to have a productive/healthy flock.

Cheerios,

Did I show you guys one of my new projects? Except I may not ever even work on it, but I couldnt bring myself to sell them.

You know paint silkies? I want to make paint cochins?

I have 3 girls currently who are the step 1. I would need to cross them back to their father a couple times to get the cochin type back. Here are the 2 older girls, one has bigger spots...

Girl #1, ignore the white bird in the upper left, that is my half blind leghorn/giant hen.

The youngest one that is not pictured is weird looking. All white with a blue spot on her neck. Not going to be used in the project, but I'm keeping her to see how she turns out. Wondering if she is actually a slightly different cross.
