Solved Search sucks

Doesn't everyone have a tape measure next to their computer? haha!

I've always had huge monitors for doing cadd work,
had 2 huge monitors at work at times.

Monitors(tv's too) are (used to be?) described by the diagonal measure of screen 'glass'.
My current laptop(5yrs old) is 17" (diag) and 15" side to side.

I rarely maximize the program windows so I can move them around as needed,
sometimes viewing 2 at once. I keep BYC at 110%, other sites usually at 100%.

So many devices, so many OS's, so many browsers.
I have what works and stick with it. Chrome on PC with WIN 7.
Much of my software is old, Office 2003, cadd is 2011,
I don't upgrade hardware cause software wouldn't run.

Why is it so impossible to find what it is I am actually looking for? I did a recent search for "pt fees" and have 354 posts.. most having to do with "feed". This is not the only time I have tried to find something and I get all kinds of posts not related to what I was searching for. I loved this place for useful information and have done many searches in the past that resulted in great information. At this point I spend way too much time searching and get nothing. This place has ceased to be the resource it should be. Please adjust the searching algorithms or post how one should search to get a desired result. I sure as heck do not need a gazillion posts that say "feed" instead of "fee."

You are not alone. I've been just using a regular search engine and then clicking on the byc pages that show up.

I find the external search engines are yielding more useful results even when it's only a one word search. It's frustrating.
