Solved Search sucks

So I gotta say that search does not suck! I was just able to find a post that I made 6-13-2016 in less than 5 minutes!

It does takes practice.

I found a picture that I had saved to my drive, but couldn't remember what link it came from, so I did a search for all of my posts on 6-13-2016, which was the day I saved it to my drive, and then I started going through the posts until I found it!

Edited to add. This was using the new search tool and the custom date and user feature in it.

I don't think there is a way to use it with the drop down box. I use it by clicking on text "Search Forums", which is in the row of text below the drop down box.

Ahhh, I see it now.
I've just been using the 'more'/'advanced' search on the drop down.
Either way the searching can be tricky, takes some practice and experimentation so
most folks can't be bothered searching for anything.

I really liked the old search way, used it so many times and helped me a great deal. I understand that for us that are not "computer" savvy, it will be a learning process. So if I get it correctly, at this point doing the search in google as explained in one post in this thread will be a way to do it, right?
