Is there a way to search for threads created by a user in a forum?

What I'd like to be able to do is find all threads created by a user in a certain forum. Just use me as an example... Try finding all threads I have started in the peafowl forum.

I can only find all your posts in that forum...Not the ones you created using the search button.

....on old platform it was only way to go IMO.

Don't think you can specify a particular forum for threads started in the search function, just posts.

hmm..Maybe because they are searches I performed?

I also used to use advanced search all the time. I was one of the those people who would not post before doing a thorough search to find previous conversations. What would be helpful to add to the advanced search option is an option to turn up results that have EVERY WORD typed in the search term box. Maybe there is a way to do this now, but I don't know what it is - quotes are to return a specific phrase.

Were you in a thread when you did the first search, and not in a thread when you did the 2nd search?

Hmm... you can search for all threads that a user posted in and list only as threads, but I don't think you can show only threads started by a specific member.
