Searma hens head all reddish purple

I had them left out yesterday for a mud bath, I have had a problem with magpies and thought maybe they've been attacking the hens. The rooster has no injuries just dead in the coop, the food is fresh and the other hens are fine. I noticed the hen this morning.

He was dead in the coop with the others. What's cyanosis? Can she be saved?
cyanosis is a dusky red, purple/blue color (cyan) that happens when blood is deoxygenated. conditions most likely to produce low O2 levels include respiratory infection, severe sepsis (wide spread infection), anemia (blood loss, iron deficience, protein malnutritionl) to name some.
the underlying cause needs to be discovered but you can start ruling some things out. I’m not an avian vet but in absence of clear signs of respiratoryinfection (nasal discharge, gasping, cough) or signs of anemia (blood loss, black sticky stools, abdominal bloating with loss of appetite for anything oral, infestation with parasites ) I can’t offer advice. I hope one of the experts here can better help. Keep her warm, offer fluids with electrolytes and isolate from flock in the meantime b
