sebright thread

I know this prob has been asked before so sorry but are Golden Sebrights just extremely slow growers? I have 3 im guessing about 6 months, beautiful feathers etc but still super tiny! Got them 3 months ago and they haven't grown much at all
They will stay very small!!!

Well maybe they will hit a growth spurt soon bc they are no where near their full size even tho they don't get big lol. My rooster looks silly crowing bc he's so tiny lol
Here is my full grown lil soldier "Clyde", of Bonnie(his hen who is laying on silkie and sultan eggs for us) and Clyde...He's a little more than twice the lighter's height...

Pretty! Mine are half that size. Are the sebright eggs smaller than bantam eggs? I've had bantams in the past that were a bit bigger than sebrights.

Hi, Mrs. H,

I had the Silver-Laced Sebrights and I assume they are pretty much the same as the Golden. Mine started crowing very early which was odd! I mean like just a little over 2 months. They were probably just about fully grown when I sold them at 5 months old. They were about maybe a dove and half size. Here are a few pictures of them fully grown, at 5 months.

Yours appear to be to be similar size as mine right now. Good to know tho. Just wasn't sure that they were growing like they should be. Thanks

These are our Sebrights, Bonnie & Clyde, Bonnie has been laying and today we woke up to this, we're thinking Clyde has some questions for Bonnie!

We have this Silver Roo named "Ernie" (his brother was Bert). We need to find him a new home. See classifieds for the ad. Bert was really aggressive but this guy is sweet. He really wants some hen's. Our full size hens don't let him have his way. Lol
