Technically? I don't think that you really understand how SpecOps works. I was a CE prior to becoming commissioned, I was also an Engineer Officer, as well as Infantry and Armor. Believe me, Engineers are not first on any battlefield. Sappers are (and they had no formal Sapper school when I was in) usually leading the edge of conventional forces. But, at that point, we've been there for quite awhile, when everybody else shows up. We usually operate where no one else EVER will show up.

Also, I'm STILL looking for some Goldens. Maybe I can get some later in the year, from soneone else. I have only seen 3 Sebrights in real life, I bought the 2 that were for sale. The one that I brought home was an older Golden Roo, he died after about 3-4 weeks, just seemed like he was too old and I never should have paid the $2 or $4 for him anyway. The other was a Sliver that the other 2 I saw were killed before the one I wanted could be caught for sale. That happens with true "freerange chickens". They get killed before they can be caught for sale. Sad but part of life.

Actually, Sarge, that would be Captain. I received a commission after completing OCS at Ft. Benning, but thanks. My time as a Corporal was my favorite time, tho "Buck" was good, too. I salute you and what your generation has done, and is doing. The "Kids" are all right, as some say. I am post-Viet Nam (78-95), we raised the price of cocaine by over 800%. You'll know what I'm referring to. Por que? ;)

I'm still searching and hoping to find someone within 100 miles, or so, to obtain Goldens from. Most people that I ask about Sebrights look at me like I'm stupid. "What's that? I never heard of 'em", is the common response.

Hopefully I have a better survival rate this time around.

Man, that bites. I have 5 Silvers ordered from Cackle, that were added onto a friend's order. I hope they have better luck.

Yeah, thanx Sarge, I felt the same way about those "who didn't know." I carried it right into my latter career years. Seems prior enlisted service tends to at least give ya a clue. At least I knew who to go to when I didn't know how something needed to be done. I might have bought those 2 Roos, had I seen them. 'Brights just aren't to be found around my home, even if I am in the zone for the best of them.
