Last week these 5 little ones followed me home from Orscheln's. I took this picture today of them and I figure they are about two weeks old now.

I know they are bantams and since Orscheln's gets their chicks from Estes or so I have read, I'm thinking OEGB BBR.

BUT: Today when I took this picture I'm starting to wonder if they are BBR or if I have a couple of SDWs. Those are the only two OEGB that I can find listed on Estes' site. The little one in the back with the very upright posture has me bewildered also.

As for sex, I'm thinking three cockerels and 2 pullets, fine with me, love my roosters dearly and I have over 30 to prove it, LOL.

The look to me like Old English Game bantams. Probably a ridiculous question but what does BBR stand for?

I really wanted OEGBs I have Barnyard mix OEGBs and love them dearly along with two pure bred OEGB Black Breasted Red pullets. I have four of their eggs due to hatch in about a week.

I hope they are all five BBR but little Miss Perfect Posture is being a rogue and going to keep me guessing.

They were doing alarm trills on the way home in the car last week at barely a week old so I know there are boys in the bunch.

@granny hatchet that is what I thought and I sincerely hope not. I'm rebuilding my flock after getting hit by Marek's. Serama's are known to be highly susceptible even if vaccinated. I had a chance to pick up eggs to hatch and passed. I've had enough heart break.

another chick in the back looks to have the same eye markings etc. I don't think the little upright is a serama, their wings point down. Maybe post on the Serama thread as well.
