sadly sicknote had to be put out of her misery last night. She was losing weight despite eating loads, her legs went and the seizures continued. Billy is so angry about it as the farm we got her from is now denying all responsibility and billy is tormented now that he had to do the job. Boc boc though is full of health and laying every morning.

I'm sorry you lost your hen. If you haven't wormed them, I'd suggest worming with Valbazen liquid. The oral dosage is 1/2 cc for adult standard breeds and 1/4 cc for Bantam breeds. Ascarids can cause brain damage and seizures if they get into the brain. Worm them, then use Vitamins and Probios in their water at least 3 days a week. Worm them again 10 days after the first worming. Wait two weeks after the last worming before you eat eggs again.
