Self Blue (Lavender) Silkie Thread

What is being worked towards as far as lavender color? Darker? Lighter? More uniform color?
I would like to have an idea since they have yet to really recognize the color.
Also on the feathers.... It should be white on top of the feather shaft and black underneath?
Any help here would be great

I'd day they are working on even color, just like blues there are darker blues and lighter blues there are darker and lighter lavenders. I think it is a personal preference on the darker or lighter but it should have even color.
