I love them, they're beautiful. i'll have to post some of my catdance lav and porcelian. They're about the same age, I sold a bunch but kept four.

How did you do that? I would love to have some Serama sized silkies. I just think that would be so amazing!!! I think a lot of silkie people are going larger, I would like to go smaller.

Precious babies KBHatchery - were these sold to you as Self Blue/Lavender or eggs marked as such? I see splash and blue babies. Parents have to have the Lavender gene (2 copies) in order for the baby to be lavender, and one lavender and usually buff for porcelain.

I sure love your boy! I need to get my self-blue pair out a get some new photos. Here's another picture of my itty bitty chick. It's nine days old now. About 2 days in this photo. I have it in with the newly hatched babies now that are a week younger and it is smaller than they are. I will be very surprised if it lives but so far it's doing fine.

I built a new brooder for all my chicks sense they'll all be One Month on the 16th.
Their old brooders were getting to small and i wanted to separate the RiRs and the
Leghorns. The far Left and Right brooder are 28 inches wide and 3 feet long.
Middle brooder is 30 inches wide and 3 feet long. Temp. water bowl for RiRs,
until i go to TSC tomorrow. Chicks love it and i do to

Does anyone have any Lavenders that are for sale? I would love a pair or trio, but would also be interested in just a rooster.
