Self Blue (Lavender) Silkie Thread

This is snuggie which looks like this hatchling is going to be more grey than lavender

This is "Fluffy" which is definitely going be a frizzle. Also from my lavender hatch.

This is"Suki" she is my self blue about 4 weeks old.

This is "Tiny" also from my lavender frizzle hatch. As you can see though she is going to be a smooth feathered silkie.

Hello everyone from Finland.

Can i ask you'r help with my rooster. I bought him week ago and the person who sold me told before we picked him up that he is a blue rooster. Ok, we went to pick him up and for me, he don't seem blue. Maybe light but definetly not solid blue.

He is 1,5 years old in this pic. What is the color?

None of these look to be lavender/self-blue. They all look to be blue, with one possible splash (Suki). Tiny would be a smooth sizzle, not a smooth silkie. Silkies must have silkie feathering.

I can't help. He almost looks like a reverse splash (not a color) in the first picture and a Self Blue Cream (porcelain) in the second.

Here is my Pretty Boy. I haven't posted a picture of him in several weeks.






His beard is finally getting thicker again. That has taken a LONG time to come back!!!


Oh, and I forgot to mention he is a new Daddy!

Thanks for answering! I think so too, he is not a clear color and for me it is difficult to say what he is. Definetly not blue like the person who sold him told me..
