How do you tell the difference between the blacks and the splits when they hatch?
I'm wondering if it would be at all possible to end up with more splash.I think some have accidentally when one of their "lavenders" was actually a dilute splash from earlier mixups in the gene pool. They didn't get lavenders.
You will get blue.Has anyone ever bred a lavender to a splash? I have a trio living together at the moment, a lavender hen and roo and a splash hen. I'm curious as to what type of coloring I would get if I hatched eggs from the splash that were fertilized by the lavender roo.
You will get blue.
