You can't - that is the problem with breeding split to split.... you don't know what you have.

The only way to tell the difference is from DNA analysis or breeding records (such as "it produced lavender offspring")

Has anyone ever bred a lavender to a splash? I have a trio living together at the moment, a lavender hen and roo and a splash hen. I'm curious as to what type of coloring I would get if I hatched eggs from the splash that were fertilized by the lavender roo.

I think some have accidentally when one of their "lavenders" was actually a dilute splash from earlier mixups in the gene pool. They didn't get lavenders.

Oooh a lighter blue by any chance? Because that's another color I've trying to get.
