Self Blue (Lavender) Silkie Thread

How cute...the splits and lavs have hatched a few more surprise chicks...started with one in the morning and last night when my son was doing his chicken chores there were two more...so cute...I guess once they are bigger I will offer some for sale to anyone interested...they are from a very strong line as everything has been done au natural...i think that was important as there has been so many issues with hatchability and survival rates on this variety....i will take some pics and if anyone is interested in buying some i will sell after Christmas....happy hatching those self blues.

Thanks Josie360, Chikincrazee. I do get veries shade of self blue/lavender. Right now they're in bathroom, we were in 20s last night, just don't trust the barn.
I don't think I want to do winter hatching again, it's so hard. But again, what else to do when it's cold outside?
