Selling Fertile Eggs?

i am getting 4-5 eggs/day. My family hardly uses 4/5 eggs a WEEK. I give them to friends and family but still have extras.

I wondered about selling the eggs thru Craigslist to ppl that want to incubate eggs. All my chickens and Roos are specific breeds but the baby chicks would just be mutts.

Does anyone else do this?

Yes - I sell my eggs on CL! People buy them to incubate - mixed breeds are fine with people if the price is right.

So is there anything “special” to do with the eggs so they’ll stay good for incubating? Besides not putting them in the fridge I guess?

They need to be clean. Store them pointy end down in a carton and at room temperature. They're good to sell locally for up to a week. Here's what I do:
