SEPTEMBER EGG SWAP . . . . . . October Swap starting soon!!!!!

Lol, yeah I am waiting not so patiently. I gave in and candled some of the eggs I set in the bator. I only did 4 of them, I use a spotlight covered by a cereal box with toilet paper tube attatched to candle so really bright. All 4 are developing

so now I know for sure that the ones I sent out were nice and fertile. I collected the ones I set right before the ones I sent out. Now I can be a little more patient about candling at 7 days. Since this is first time in my new homemade bator I was worried even though temp has stayed between 99 and 100.2 the whole time in my water wiggler (which I think might not have enough stuff in it, I used a plastic egg w/hair gel but ran outta gel when 3/4 full).

As to the person sending out my eggs at least let me know who you are, pretty please!!!

Well they went out for delivery....hope they set them in the shade. I've got a truck and trailer load of hay coming at lunch so I have work to get done they gave me no warning and I have to clear out a place for the one squeeze that doesn't fit in the barn...and I have plywood out that I was going to paint to finish up my chicken castle maybe I can get it painted before they come......

My deck is under a huge oak tree so my eggs should be fine unless the tree falls!! haha! then I wont be worried about eggs! huh!
Randy will be home at lunch and he will take them in!! I just hate not being there to unpacked them and get everything ready to go into the incubator. I was late getting home last night and didn't get the eggs that came yesterday in the bator! Oh well, hopefully I will get them all in the bator tonight.

I got my eggs... From you, I'm assuming!

They all arrived looking good except the dark brown egg in the corner of the pad.
