September Egg Swap--Sign-ups closed--check posts for shipping updates!

My LG's did ok for me, but a couple months ago, I fell into a deal on an old Leahy Redwood cabinet incubator, so now, I just use the LG's for hatching. They are sensitive, but mine hold temps very well. I LOVE my Leahy!!!

Has anyone gotten their eggs yet? Make sure you post here when you receive them!

Country Pantry, yours were shipped first, any word?

HI all! no eggs here, mine haven't even shipped yet and I'm already staring down the mailbox--willing them to arrive! LOL!

Just so shellyd2008 isn't all alone posting here....

Today, one of my EE's--my most very favorite chicken of ALL--decided to grace me with a beautiful egg after having been broody and raising chicks since July! The color is soo pretty! I know it's not fertile since she just went back into the main coop yesterday but I'm really excited she's back to laying!

and then! I decided to make an egg sandwich for lunch so i cracked a couple pullet eggs b/c they are the perfect size . Much to my surprise BOTH were fertile! Brutus boy (our Roo) is working overtime! We currently have 21 ladies and far as we can tell he doesn't miss a one!
Not sure how well this will come through, i could see them in the pic but then again I know right where to look.

Yay! Each new fertilized egg is an opportunity to hatch!!

...I had to buy eggs to eat the other day, as a molt and all of my incubating has rendered us hen-fruitless...

There's a absurdity in there somewhere.
