The floor has a grid built in I usually use grippy shelf liner but I was out last night.... I hope to pick some up but the way my brain is no guarantees. I have hatched straight on the floor before and it works ok.... I prefer to have the liner down, but... lol

the liner makes for easier clean up too.

Mostly meat projects but I couldnt help throwing in some from my leghorn mix girls.... who wouldn't love to have more of those Big cream colored eggs?

Yes thsts the best way I have found to get the humidity up with my brinsea, the water wells in the bottom are not big enough for here in dry Colorado. That's my chief complaint about the Brinsea. Those water wells aren't enough for humid gulf coast, either. Such a bummer on such an expensive unit.

I have 2 silver Mille fleur/Mille fleur D’Uccle eggs under a broody that should hatch September 17th

One last post about our hatches of ODs - 4 of 5, not too bad. Big kids are ten-eleven days, and the pipsqueak is 36 hours or so. All doing well for now. Best of luck to everyone with your hatches this month!

Sorry I haven’t been posting - too busy building the guineas coop (done enough to put teenage guinea keets in tomorrow!!!) to be a good hatchalong poster! Anyway, 15/16 guinea keets have hatched! Last one is pipped... About half lavender and half pearl. So darn cute! Will try for pics tomorrow...
