Hang in there!I have a pip!!! No chirping but I do have a pip and that is more then anything I've had since lockdown! Day 24, and something is happening!!!!
That is SO cute!!!Max asked for bruschetta for dinner. Who am I to deny a turkey? I enjoyed it, Max loved it! Tomato and crumbs all over her face, no worries, she whiped her face on me. She's clean now. Happily sleeping in a bruschetta coma. I hope she doesn't ask for lobster thermadore tomorrow night. I just can't say no to that cute little face. Could you?![]()
good luck sounds adorable can't wait to see pics!!!This is our 1st of our chick'rens baby!!! Silkie and frizzle mix. This was the only fertile out if the 1st 6 placed.... Can't wait to see this baby...![]()
Quote:The starter I have is high protien but it's purina. None of my chicks like Purina but I didn't buy it. A friend wanted turkeys, so she bought the food. But she changed her mind. So I now have a turkey. I don't know what I would have done with 4 if they had all hatched. I have room for one. I don't know if Max will be sad being the only turkey in with chickens. If Max is a she, I can take her for a date to visit a tom when she's grown to let her have baby's.
my beloved little Jade, with no warning, passed on her 9th day!! keeping Max with you is perfect don't let her with the chickens or even on the ground outside until she's several months old!
mix plenty of her crumble in anything she'll eat! no I won't try for a turkey or another peachick until next year! it's cooling into the 50s here at night, I worry like crazy about the little ones. still have the ones that were sick in the house still watching them every minute. I am incubating some guineas, someone orders keets and a few of my sex links eggs....remember her baby drowned a few weeks ago...anyway the chicken business is bittersweet!
Max won't be lonely you two will be a team...they are very affectionate![]()
