It will dry out, the sticky will start to flake off, you could gently rub/press the feathers do help "break" the gluey's. Chirp

After about a day??????????? Just depends. I pop them under warm water from the faucet
then dry with a hair dryer.........very low heat of course.
They need the fluff to retain body heat.................works for me and they
always seem to relax and enjoy it.

just did eggtopsies on all 12. Not one sign of life in any of them -_- So mad right now. They never developed. All were just like regular eggs. -_- On the bright side I'm hatching some Easter peeps. This time I'm trying 24. One better hatch.

Was that your first? My first I had 1 out of 96. Just at day 21 on my second attempt(no heater problems) day 21 in 1 hr. 5 out already and 14 more pipped. another 16 to go.

yeah congrats I'm up to 15 two assisted not sure if they'll make it but they where *** backwards and no chance of hatching and another has curled toes (gotta research how to correct tomorrow) but the rest are happy and healthy and still have a few more zipping nothing on my twins though I'm worried but hatch day is not till tomorrow so they have time yet :0)

I used medical tape. I just cut 2 little pieces, put one on the bottom of toes, spread them out normal like then the other on top. I kept it on for 5 days and they're fine.
