September Hatch-A-Long!

Well, I'd just made the decision to at least candle the remaining eggs before bed. Two are dead, one started peeping at me (shoved it back in quick!!) and now it's pipped externally, the one next to it has started rocking and the final one at the back will remain a mystery for now!

Bed? I should be so lucky! :caf

IMO if nothing happened it was the eggs - not you. Shipped eggs? I threw out 24 clear shipped eggs recently - very frustrating I know :(

Nope. Not shipped. I have a cockerel that wasn't fertile at the time that I got the hen, and she was with a rooster the day I got her. I ate her first egg after I got her and it was fertile so i thought "perfect, I can incubate some and they'll hatch" but I guess not. Now my cockerel is fertile.

Well it's been almost 24 hours since pip and progress is still slow going. This is taking forever, especially since it was day 25 lol. I see some color to the feathers though! Membrane still looks moist and my humidity is at 80%, so I'm letting it take its time still.

Took my last look inside tonight. Took 2 clears out. 61 going into lockdown tomorrow. All of my eggs are dark colored no whites ,blues and browns only. The rest look very dark inside with a clear air pocket. My first time hatching fingers crossed. I had no real issues on temp or humidity. I work from home so I check often. Praying that they all hatch yet, I know that is not realistic but hopeful .
