September Hatch-A-Long!

You know....it looks pretty moist to me and I think I still see some veining. I'd give it another 30 min. to an hour, before any more aggressive assist...looks good so far.
Can you here it peep?

It you do assist later, just lightly dampen, or apply Bacitracin ointment, Neosporin if you don't have the other...just a dot...your humidity is high enough so far...just need to watch for it getting to dry and tough...
I'll need to leave for a while within the hour, I'll check back in on you...Good Luck, come on chickie, chickie!!!

Yeah I don't see it drying out, and it's still a nice white/translucent color so I'm leaving it alone. It's still chirping away and doing good. It's out of blue/black/splash frizzle bantam Cochins, so I can't wait to see what I get!

just did eggtopsies on all 12. Not one sign of life in any of them -_- So mad right now. They never developed. All were just like regular eggs. -_- On the bright side I'm hatching some Easter peeps. This time I'm trying 24. One better hatch.

Really sorry about your hatch.I know it is hard.
It took me a little bit to get things figured out.
Hope it goes a lot better for you next time................................

Good to see you are trying again. :highfive: Most of us have had a batch not hatch, especially the first time when everything is soooo new to you. You'll be surprised how much you have learned from this "test batch". Keep us posted! ;)
