YES! One little Huastec born 100% ASSISTED and doing good - everything fully absorbed and naval closed. I had to extract her as she was glued completely in her shell. Her feathers are funny and matted looking but she is back in the bator pitching a fit to get out so I think she is going to be fine. The Colloncas has giant major veins on the top membrane so she just has to sit tight for now.

I hatch year round.............I bump the protein  and add vitamins.............Usually hatch my own eggs and do OK.
Soooo happy to hear about your late arrival

Ooh really? And when do you put them outside? That's my main concern. I would worry about them getting cold!

Gonna be a long night ! Got 2 pips and I wanna see these 2 hatch ! LOL My little silkie early hatcher is doing good so far , she was dragging her cord and shell around for several hours until it dried enough and fell off .

Well, my eggs are on lockdown and I keep hearing PEEPING but no pips yet. LOL, it is driving me crazy!! You would think I would have more patience at this point....

Impossible to have patients when waiting for them to hatch. It only gets more difficult.

how fun...my granddaughter loves visiting and practically taking over all the chicken chores...she's 10

Max went to work with me all day today. SHe was soooo good. Sat in her bed for the first 5 hours waiting for me. Helped me on then computer then slept in my dress.
