Oh my goodness. What day is this for them? Were they shipped or not? You might want to do a pip hole and peek at them, but that depends on what day they are on etc.

Going by from when I sat them to 24 hours later (so I sat them sat the 7th at 8:50pm and considered sunday the 8th at 8:50pm to be one full day) they are into day 22 now. Not shipped eggs. They are my own flocks eggs. Do you have an article, threads, ect that you would recommend on how to do a pip to check? Or could you tell me? I fear the 3 might already be gone. We did have a lot of problems with the incubator not only spiking high with the temp but also dropping low and the humidity dropping pretty badly. Just last night it dropped to 42% while I slept.

I have had day old to 4 week old chicks that I have kept in my room when they were sick. I cared for them like I am caring for Max. AS they got older they slept longer periods of time in the hand warmer on my bed. I had one I took care of like this for a month. None of them have been like Max. She is sleeping less on her own. She is now waking up all night long, trying to cuddle. I had to put her back in her bed too many times. I am so tired. I am afraid I'll roll over on her and of course there is the poo issue. I am working on a diaper. She is just so small, I'm having a hard time with it. I have diapers for her once she is bigger, but the ones I ordered just won't fit. Ihave got to figureout a way to get more sleep. I still love my Max but it's like having a baby all over again.

What about a little tiny cage with her hand warmer in it on the bed next to you? She can be close without danger of rolling on her - like a turkey co-sleeper
