September Hatch-A-Long!

I'm about to head to the store to find either coconut oil or neosporin, so I will definitely do that in case I need it. How would I know where to help chip at for the head though, when I have no idea where it's head currently is?
I just added that part after reading and realizing I forgot that step :) I have a screaming 2 year old here and its hard to think/type, LOL! You would first remove the top membrane once you are sure it is all clear. You should be able to see the beak now right? or is that hole NOT where the beak is?

One of my blue Marans crosses came out so beautiful. Not sure who the daddy is or how genetically I got a silver Marans... but she is just gorgeous. I picked her up thinking it was my splash Breda and then realized although its feet are just as fuzzy it was one of the Marans instead. Here are her glamourshots ;)

Just did a quick check. Can still see the thin red veins so they have not fully absorbed but not seeing any movement whatsoever. Not responding to calling of gentle taps to the shell.
