September Hatch-A-Long!

Question for those of you that dry incubate what do you want the humidity to be at what range? This is only my second hatch and I have 48 eggs in there and I want to make sure what I'm doing is correct because I have researched it and can not find a definite answer so what has worked for you guys?
I incubate at around 55% then increase to 75% on day 18. It works well for me.

Mine is at 38% it dipped down to 24% and a added just a bit of water and its back up in the 30's but I guess my question is what is a good range as in it shouldn't go lower than___% or higher than ____% until day 18 at lockdown it should be ____%

This is our first hatch. I'm so excited. We put 41 eggs in our incubator on Friday and promptly 3 hens went broody within the next 3 days. Today there are 17 eggs in the nests

The power did go out but only for a little while. My bator only got down to 95 degrees before the power came back on

I candled my 9 eggs when I woke up and they are all still alive and kicking

I really should be more prepared for this stuff

I know it's going to happen just never when...

I'm glad they're alright. I lost power 2 days before mine went into lockdown and the bator dropped to 70's even with a blanket over them.

Luckily though everyone lived through it. I got 2 fluffy butts running around now and the others are due next week.

I try not to get below 50% or higher than 65% until lockdown. Then 70% - 80%. I live in KY and that seems to work great for here but percentages may varyby location. The main thing is that the eggs have to loose some of the water inside it so that during the first 18 days they loose 11 to 13 percent of the weight.

So sorry. I hate losing such cuties.
I keeps falling onto its side. As if it's equilibrium is off or something. I put it in a donut shaped cloth but kept tossing itself out of it. Then I placed it in a sling and just drops it's head down. I've got it out of it and is just laying there. Maybe I can get it to drink, but I know it will be no use.

Hi everyone!

I've got a hatching question--
I'm 24 hours into lockdown and my humidity dropped to 40%
Do I open it up real quick to throw in a wet paper towel to get it back up or just leave it how it is?
