September Hatch-A-Long!

I keeps falling onto its side. As if it's equilibrium is off or something. I put it in a donut shaped cloth but kept tossing itself out of it. Then I placed it in a sling and just drops it's head down. I've got it out of it and is just laying there. Maybe I can get it to drink, but I know it will be no use.

Try giving it some water mixed with Karo syrup and vitamins through a dropper. That's what we do with weak chicks and even our malnourished foster puppies. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Okay thanks
I know they always say not to open during lockdown so wanted to make sure I wasn't doing more harm than good...

My very 1st set of eggs went on lockdown today!!! I've been so excited for this, but now I have to go to the doctor tomorrow, & may wind up having to go immediately into surgery and miss the whole thing!!! :( I'm the ONLY one in my house who has read EVERYTHING I could find to learn all I can. Nobody else really seems to care about the work part, just the fun of watching. Hope they make it!

Day 20-

400

This is my malpositioned chick that I posted about earlier. Helped a little but he/she kicked out on her/his own a few hours ago!
Also I had a lav silkie hatch too. They are cuddling together.
I have a few more that are piped but seem to not be quite ready yet.

Yay!! :D
