September Hatch-A-Long!

I candled. Looks like we have 7 moving babies!!! 4 clear and 1 questionable. I didnt see clear air cells tho. I just dont know what im looking for i guess. I think 2 had good size air cells for day 7. I circled them with pencil so i can see if they get bigger.

This is the weird looking one. All the others have a straighter line. this one is very bumpy

it's fine, are these shipped eggs, with shipped eggs you often get the wonky air cells

This egg has me a bit concerned. Idt its pipped. I think my crazy chick cracked it running around knocking eggs all over the place and climbing on top of them. Looks like the membrane is still intact inside.

have you looked up the candled egg photos on line? I'm sorry I don't have the thread....don't discount the ones you believe to be clear this early! the air cells get bigger as the chick grows and the egg evaporates
OH yes...ive studied them. I just dont "see" the air cell. The clear are VERY clear. no veins or anything. I kept them tho...gonna recheck at day 10!

No, these are my eggs.

you sure have the issues with positioning!! crossing fingers for baby
I KNOW!! It is driving me NUTS!! I got the new hatcher made last night but I think its not insulated enough... will see. I converted the LG and have my special egg in that one along with this troubled hatcher since the hatcher is iffy right now. Ireally think its been low temps but we'll see. My friend near you in Burleson hatched from the same batch of eggs and had a bunch of malpositions too :/ She also had a lot of dead ones. But she doesn't have a fan and thinks maybe there are cold spots in the bator.

LOL, this is going to read like the 12 days of Christmas but as of now to be hopefully hatched September 28th/29th: 10 Easter Eggers, 1 Buttercup/Leghorn mix, 1 Black sexlink, 9 Olandsk Dwarfs, 17 banty cochins and 20 mixed banties.
Keeping my fingers crossed and crossed and CROSSED!!! :)

Ok so it's day 27 on my duck eggs. 8 of 9 have pipped so far. I was wondering if the egg in the picture is normal. It pipped and then awhile later it has another "pip mark" but quite aways away from the first one.
