First hatch is complete on Day 21! 7 out of 8 precious black fluffy babies. Im setting my first batch of Olive Eggers this morning!! I hope one of these comes out something other than black! OOH!!! I have 2 pipped eggs on day 20!!!

One is normal so far. The other has pipped in the middle (it's quite a roundish egg). I can see its beak so it's still facing the hole but I will be keeping an eye on it!

Make that 3!!

Ok in lockdown, started 48 eggs after day 7 removed 10 after day 12 removed 2 at lockdown 1 35 eggs left. was running humidity between 32-40% upped to 55-60% for lockdown, is that high enough? Home made cabinet circulated air.

well my sweet little wrong end pipper died a few minutes ago. Sad sad..and my kids are sad (worst part) But the positive news is 4 have hatched and are looking great. 2 are zipping right now and the last one has pipped. If i get 7 out of 8 on my first hatch I will be happy!! Day 21 tomorrow! Here is Godzilla...im thinking Roo. What do yall think?

Congrats on your chickies everyone! Come on little chickies that just pipped and to those going in to lock down!! Woo hoo!
Ms. Clessie finished her hatch yesterday evening. 8 out of 10....now a week to go for the one's in the 'bator. Chirp

Day 14 and nothing much to report. Tossed one clear, infertile egg and left with 5 for my first hatch. It'll be a bloody miracle if any make it due to the constant fight with the temp (spiked to 108 the other day and 104 yesterday!) and the humidity fluctuation I've been having while struggling with the temp. But, surprisingly, all 5 are wiggling around in their shells though it's getting hard to see in there. Here's to hoping.

Had temp spike issues. Went up to 110 at one point. Thought for sure they were gonners. Still had nine hatch

Mine have always changed several times. You never know what they will look like. What are the black ones that hatched?
