Happy duck dance!!!... and just as I typed that I heard my ducks plunge into their pond out back... they're happy too! So cute!

Yay! We have just watched the third egg break open.....so so so worth the wait! I now have 3 for the 3 kids. Hoping for 4 more at least for other kids (2 each for 2 families) and the rest are happy bonuses for our new flock!! 2 kakhi Campbell's and 1 mallard so far.

We have about 10 eggs with 3 broody ladies sitting on them. Hopefully hatching around 21 September! Can't wait. Ours are completely free range and this is the first time that we are keeping chickens at school and the first time they are sitting on eggs. We have ducks too and they have bred successfully last year! So fingers crossed!

Can't believe I have to go to work in a little bit but soooooo excited. e

Oh Bugger! One of mine has given up - i can see the disclouration of the egg! Aaargh! I want to help but I'm afraid!!! I'm gonna stick to my guns...its not even hatch day yet. No assistance!

LOL, ironically it's the one day my wife is off, not me. She has a standing "order" to record "ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS" and send it to me.

She is even starting to show interest in this hatch!!!

I'm so glad I listened to you guys and sat on my hands instead of opening the bator to candle one last time.

Day 21 starts in 1hr 11 min for me. My DW must think I'm crazy hovering over the incubator trying to catch a wiggling egg or two while she watches "her movie". I'm like, "honey, I'll be right there, one more sec."

LOL. Good thing it wasn't a flick with exploding helicopters, robots and/or car chases, otherwise you'd be *really* torn. ("his movie" fare)

all of these babies hatching is making me excited! we have 2 days until lock down. Can't wait! I hope this time we get at least one baby out of it.
