Serama eggs from Castle Delight Seramas

I'm glad it's not just me, I have been having trouble getting my seramas to hatch. I bought a Brinsea mini echo so we will se how it goes I just filled it with serama eggs. My CDS are growing BIG, I will try to photograph them today and get them online for all to see.

Here are Seramas that I hatched from breeding stock I raised so they are 1st generation Sunimaging Seramas

All of the babies are so cute and growing up!! I love that you have a Thaddeus baby

Cleaning the incubator today and getting set up for the eggs arriving this week. I'm hoping this 3rd horrible hatch is the last one!

I'm sorry you didn't get any babies out of this hatch either, but glad you have some more eggs on the way. Are you going to put some of your own in as well this time?

This morning I went to put the eggs in lockdown and one of the Othello eggs had already internally pipped. I've got 2 Othello and 1 Gino as well as 1 of my own that have made it to lockdown--hoping for 4 out of 4!

for 4 out of 4 too! No, not this time around. I will have a full incubator with all these eggs. I will be setting again the week of March 12th. A friend is trading 1 dz eggs with me so I will fill the incubator with 1 dz of my eggs too. That will be my last hatch till May or June.

Well so far both Othello babies have hatched and they look identical--all yellow with some dark under the down on their wings. The first one to pip did so at the wrong end on Sunday night and took a little longer to start zipping and hatch... she waited until about 4 this morning. It was so hard not to open the incubator and help!

My Gino egg pipped last night and the egg from my pair pipped around 3 or 4 this morning... hoping they will be my Valentine's Day presents

my poor boyfriend just can't compete with them.

Well both the Gino egg and the egg from my own pair hatched yesterday. The Gino baby is a tiny yellow thing too! Unfortunately the chick from my egg is missing an eye and has a very mild case of cross beak--I didn't even notice at first that the poor thing's beak was crossed at all it's so minimal. She can see out of her one eye (she was pecking at my hand this morning) but doesn't seem to have very good control of her balance yet. I'm sure it will take her a little longer than the others. My dad has named her Wink :)

Yay!! Congrats! It will take the little one eyed one longer, but she will get used to it. I love all my special babies
