Smooth Serama. Dark brown with gold penciling pullet under 1 year old. Top bloodline but lays "fairy" eggs (no yolks = non hatching). Weighs around 9 ozs. Healthy, raised indoors (cage coop). Gentle, sweet, handled regularly, loves cuddles & treats.

Seramas are the Smallest Chicken breed in the world. They were bred to bond with people.

Can ship.

"Cuddles" would make an excellent pet for a responsible child, young person or older adult. Excellent 4H project.

Hi. I'm curious about how you ship a live chicken?

There are cardboard shipping boxes made just for that. Call your P.O., give dimensions of the box, and weight. Give them the zip code you are receiving from/to and the post office can estimate the shipping cost. Boxes usually run $15-$20 depending on how many you buy. Add that on to the price of the bird. We sometimes put in small contaioners of watermelon or peaches for hydration. Don't have to add feed. I have never had any incident with shipping.
You are, by law, required to have a NPIP license to ship, but most post offices don't check that requirement.

Very interesting!! Learned something new today. Obviously I was aware they ship chicks just didn't know about adult chickens. I have one little serama and thought yours could be a new friend. But wasn't even thinking of shipping.
