Hi Cherlyn, I had to help my second serama baby out of it's shell, it couldn't do it on it's own. The first one popped right out like nobody's business. The second born was the first egg to pip, and 12 hours later she seemed to be losing strength. Her membrane was very thick, and she was very tiny. I just picked off the shell where the aircell was, but left the membrane intact. About 20 min later she worked her way out of the membrane. If you try this, make sure to keep the membrane dampened (not where her beak is, you could drown her). Read the how to help sticky on here for how to do it. Make sure she really needs the help though, otherwise you could do more damage than good. Also read the when to help or not sticky. Good luck, and please keep us updated.
