I have been following Lillie Girl's updates daily. She does look better! Rooting for her. Also I wanted to tell you that I was told my scalped pullet would never have feathers in the place where the skin was all gone, BUT as the wound heals it looks like new skin is forming, and maybe feathers! Fingers crossed your girl heals just as thoroughly.
 
The next time you wash her it’s okay to use a gentle cloth or gauze and if any of that sloughy stuff will come off that’s a good thing.
DON’T PICK at it though, just let whatever you’re using to clean it soften it up.
So If you’re just using vetericyn spray, for example you could even gently rub it with your fingertips like you’re washing a tiny baby’s scalp.

You are doing a really fantastic job nursing her back from the brink! She still has a lot of healing ahead, but you’ve made tons of progress in a week’s time!
