Dedication is really shining through in this awesome thread.
@Crazychickenlady76 deserves massive praise and encouragement. She was overwhelmed at the beginning of this journey, AND RIGHTLY SO, since the injury was truly a traumatic one, but each day she’s showing us though her growth, how resilient she is in caring for her sweet bird.
This is what BYC is all about.

Great job, and I hope she continues to heal. Glad that you have had the dedication to helping her get over such a horrible wound. Keep the skin moist with Neosporin or even coconut oil so it doesn’t dry out.
