Tonight we are going into Day 16. Tossed a BBS Rock egg that was severely underdeveloped for this stage and had just expired--last time I candled, it was alive. I did open the egg and the baby was on probably Day 12 stage of incubation in size, as far as I could determine. There were already feathers covering part of the body. Another one is almost exactly the same but is still bouncing around in the egg! The pic below is what they both looked like upon candling tonight. What on earth do I do with the one that is alive but will in no way be ready to hatch in 4 days? There is another one or two like that as well, along with the rest that are properly developed.
After tossing that one, I still have 61 eggs in there and as far as I can tell, will have to toss maybe three or four more.
