Thanks SMChick and Chicken little for the encouragement. That LG incubator has been very inconsistent, too hot, too cold and no one touches the dial!!

I guess I will crack the eggs tomorrow and see if I can tell anything. I'd take pics but I think it would make my stomach real queasy given the way I feel right now.

I do have my own hens' eggs in the bator, but those eggs I only got one chick from were Ebay eggs, not exactly cheep <misspelled on purpose LOL>

I have my own eggs in the Hovabator and htey are due in another week or so?

I wanted to ask about the thermometers. The little clear plastic ones with the red line which comes in the bator versus the digital ones that are also hygrometers.....which is more accurate?

Do you have to calibrate the digital thermometer? I know you are supposed to calibrate the hygrometer but is there a way to calibrate the thermometer part of it?

As for the thermometers. I have a digital one and a mercury one(both show humidity) that I use. I think my digital one is more accurate. My digital one has a "reset" button on it that resets both. Does that help?

I borrowed a friends camera. Took pics. Took the camera back to her. She is gonna email me the pics , then I can finally, hopefully post them !
