Hi guys i recieved an Octagon 40 off my husband for xmas, ive ordered eggs online and they came this morning. Temp is 37.8c not sure how to check humidity. Ok which way round do i put eggs in Tray? ive layed them on there side for now till i find out.. Thanks. Tracy.

Yess yes yes! Your hatch rate will be way better if you let the eggs settle for 24 hours before you put them in

Thanks guys, i took them back out yesterday and put them back in this morning with the cradle switched on.. Ok another dilema! i dropped an egg

It has the tiniest crack about 2mm long, ive put it in the bater but do you think i should remove it????

As long as it isn't leaking, you can put drip candle wax on the cracked area & it should be fine. Or you can use clear nail polish also. Hope this helps you.
