I just replaced one of the water bowls with a wet sponge. Hopefully that helps get the dang humidity back up. I'm at 57 right now
OMG that is low. Are your plugs in or do you have one pipping and cant have them all in?didnt you have it higher before?..
Spread the water around if you can like on the sponge AND . on the bottom of the tray any place you can Use a straw thru the vent hole...and big syringe or eye dropper. turkey baster..... i have 2 long straws and put them thru the plug hole of the bator and shoot water in with a fat syringe.
Slow way to do it but it does get it to go a lot of places and raises the humidity to the right spot. Takes maybe 4-6 syringes of water or more. though but the bator isnt opened to do it.
I couldnt get mine up last time and someone said SURFACE area needs to be moist not so much DEPTH of water
.
I kept adding water to my sponges and nothing. So .Add to as much of the bottom of the bator as you can get wet.Not so much DEEP..I thought mine might be dead last time so opemed it and put water i n the center wells and away it went ....up to 70 or 75.
Before that i had 2 little and one big sponges in and didnt add water to the center wells. ....wouldnt go up..So i believe its true for sure.... surface..
Also If you can stick a warm wet rag in really quick That should help if its sort of flattened out and wet and put it where you can reach it with a straw to rewet.
HOpe youare geting it up...Good Luck..
By the way mine are still as anything No peep or pip..Hope didnt kill them with the low temp last night Day 18 one was FOR SURE alive .I willreall ybe frustrted if i killed them. with 98.2 at 3am
