What about the ones that hatched , should I leave them in there or take them out?
If no others are pipped, and the babies are dry, then yes take them out.

Are we going to be starting a new Thread? or Staying here? So far here is what I have 19 BLRW set to hatch next Sunday! Then 3 BLRW and 3? that my wife found set to hatch the following Sunday. I also set 8 BLRW eggs yesterday along with 4 Gold Laced Brahma's for the past week all my girls have been laying every day!Let me know what were doing I'm fine either way?![]()
No, let's stay here!!!![]()
Babies are doing great. Float tested the only egg left and it didn't do anything, scratched the shell heard nothing and then candled it saw a fully developed chick with no movement. So I decided to open the shell via the air sack, saw a fully developed chick that hadn't touched the membrane and the chick was dead, didn't want to go or see a need to go any farther. The cause, i don't know and I guess don't care because I did have a very successful hatch of, here it goes, 23 out of 24. I gave myself a big pat on the back and everyone one BYC for doing such wonderful jobs. Especially us first timers![]()
