Babies are doing great. Float tested the only egg left and it didn't do anything, scratched the shell heard nothing and then candled it saw a fully developed chick with no movement. So I decided to open the shell via the air sack, saw a fully developed chick that hadn't touched the membrane and the chick was dead, didn't want to go or see a need to go any farther. The cause, i don't know and I guess don't care because I did have a very successful hatch of, here it goes, 23 out of 24. I gave myself a big pat on the back and everyone one BYC for doing such wonderful jobs. Especially us first timers :thumbsup

What is the float test? I stiil have 4 that have not hatched and I don't see them moving at all any ideas? Or at what point should I give up and open them? Today at 3:00pm is day 23 any tips/info would be great! Thanks

The waiting was killing me so I opened all 4 and they were all fully developed but they were all dead?
