Set eggs today3/11 Due 4/1 for Easter! 1st ever hatch! Please join me!

HI all....so sorry for those of you that had no chickies hatch out !!! How disappointing that is !
I hatched one time....about 32 years ago with VERY little luck in a huge metal 'bator.
I just set about 18 of my Ameracuana eggs on Monday, 3/29. I'm using a brand new Suro 20 and will hold my breath. Will candle Sun night. If it doesn't work then I'll just try again.... I get plenty of eggs daily and can't use them all so at least I'm not buying them. Want to perfect this B 4 my Guineas start to lay and my Banty Blk Silky ducks.
Wishing good luck to all.

This morning, 7 eggs out of 14 had pip, and then this evening, 9 eggs out of 14 had pip, and now 2 of them hatched and 2 more are coming out.
total 6 eggs have pip also. I hope all 6 of them can make it, keep my fingers crossed...
10 chicks out of 14 isn't that bad as a first time hatcher

2 eggs left but I'm not even seeing a pip...
don't know whether to move the chicks to the brooder

or wait another day.

Can't even count them anymore... At least 13. A couple are still zipping, but the first ones to hatch are probably getting hungry by now so I think a trip to the brooder is inevitable. Looks like maybe 5 or 6 late quitters, but the ones who made it are adorable! I'll get pics tonight.

Happy April Fool's Day everyone! Our family is coming in to visit for Easter. Won't this be wonderful to have baby chicks in the kitchen!
Please post pix of your Easter chicks! How's everyone doing?

update.. When I got home I had 2 silkies out and one more piping. Total so far is 6 alive, 1 dead, and 1 didn't develop.
Due date was today. I haven't heard any other pips. This is out of 30 eggs. I am sort of disappointed. I wanted some white silkies so bad. I will give them a few more days but it doesn't look good. But at least I got some chicks that is better than none.

So far so good. Three piping, with plenty of peeping. First time incubating and with a homemade incubator! Went with the dry method. Air cells seemed to stay proper size and really duplicated the relative humidity that we had outside here in south central pa, over the last couple of weeks. With the vents open this old house would vent in enough of the moisture during the rainy days that the incubator would stabilize its humidity along with it. Very proud of my rooster. Had 36 of 36 eggs fertilized . He has a flock of ten hens. Don't stare too long at those eggs! Best wishes.

So what should I be seeing if I set my eggs on the 12th around 6:30pm because I haven't seen or heard anything yet, I candled and all were live and well before lockdown, so when should I start seeing something?
