Here we go! Apri 1,Day 21 pipping started at around 2:00pm. Had six eggs pipped by 8:30. first noisy one out at 2:00Am. Now I have 6 hatched. 1 zipped and 3 definate pips. Would love to see all 12 hatch but that is asking for alot. All American Dominiques. What a great experiance for the family! Will get pics when they go in the brooder.

Our last 2 eggs never hatched. But I'm so excited with our 7 babies. I'll try and take pix today and post them later.

Thankyou. Me and the hubby were both on this morning and were very excited. I am at work and he is home. Just to explain the 4 posts in a row. I didn't realize until I saw two sets of pictures. Oops.

I can't wait to go home!

Oh how fun. It's so great to see other babies. This thread was such a great idea. I keep coming back to it to see more pictures.

I broke down last night & took the incubator into the bathroom, steamed it up, misted the eggs & quickly candled the BCM eggs. All six were VERY full- all the way up to the air cell. I could see slight movement in three right under the air cell, but I didn't see any breaking through it. Still no pips today. I know there's still live in those eggs, I just hope they don't die now. Today is technically day 22....



My humidity has jumped up to 78%- should I be worried? I don't want them to drown.

We ended up with 7 chicks.
The last 2 eggs never pipped. We candled them and then opened them today. The 2 chicks were fully
formed but dead... so sad.

But! the good news is that we have 7 beautiful babies!

Gracie and Macie -- our 2 blue Ameraucanas -- although they look like salt and pepper!

Millie and Maxwell (or is it Maxine?) -- our two Mille Fleur d'uccles

Crystal Ice, Fluff Bucket and Sierra Mist -- our 3 Sizzle/Frizzle Silkies
