Setting 7/21 - should be due on 8/10 anyone else?

4 of my leghorns have given up. Dead in shell on day 21.
THere are two left in the incubator, not pipped, but alive (day 22 )my guess is its the stock, as all the others are out. ONLy the leghorns have been a major problem. What do you guys think ?

@ bobbieschicks, ya, you gotta use the styrofoam cartons, not the paper ones as the humidity goes too high.....

I almost bought some eggs in styrofoam just to have the container - now I wish I would have. I pray I didn't kill them by putting them in that soaking wet environment.

Ok, got the excessive water problem solved, and just put THE LUCKY 13 to bed for the final time in their shells. After all the water trouble today I decided to forgo the cups and just hatch em on paper towels, have had good luck with that in the past. I don't have any movers and shakers yet, but I expect some noise and movement tommorrow, as mine are due out on Thurs night. Happy Hatchin vibes sent out to all, now lets ee how this homemade coolerbator finishes! LET THE BATOR WATCH COMMENCE

Went out to the coop tonite to check on my broody hen and got a suprise, I finally have a pip and the other 5 eggs are moving in the shells and peeping at me. I hope that everything goes well for everyone here. This is my third attempt this year and my second with a broody hen. This time I have learned my lesson and made sure mama and the eggs are well protected from the rest of the flock. The last time I think that another hen was trying to lay an egg in the nest with hatching eggs and accidently squashed the hatching baby. Not this time
